Dave Rowland National Trial celebrates its 40th birthday

The Dave Rowland National Trial celebrates its 40th birthday this weekend in the Peak District, UK. The organisers Manchester 17 MCC have rung the changes with a new route in many sections.

The National features a single lap, around 15 miles, taking in no fewer than 19 groups and 40 sections in total.

Starting from Berry Bank Farm, Wildboarclough, the route will include rocky streams, outcrops, gullies and bankings along with roadwork, tracks and open going, and finish at Manor Steps and Manor Rocks.
